Idea 1: Guest Piece

Since this is an idea, I plan on leaving this in idea form.

It occurred to me recently that what I really want out of this blog is to spur up conversation and debate on some of these topics.  I've found that I don't always have the most interesting things to talk about with other people, so I decided I should invite some of my friends to write a piece here which will be an interesting way of spurring up conversation and debate.

I selected only a handful of people to invite to write a guest piece.  They were all selected for a reason, that being they think differently than me.  I don't expect them all to respond to the invitation, but surprisingly I have received a lot of positive feedback thus far.

I'm excited to see what some of my friends have to say and to talk about their ideas with them.  This should be a great learning exercise and should be fun as well.

If you feel like you could contribute a guest piece to my blog please let me know.  The only restriction is that it needs to be original, from your mind, and with a point that can be talked about.  Anything works from thoughts to ideas to quotes to songs to poems.
